This
one is for Alicia who, despite her ravishing beauty, does not believe in playing for
safety because she knows that safety can be the most dangerous thing around. The song
playing in the background is "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson. A womans
work is not only never done but never done by men also.
HAVE YOU BEEN BRAINWASHED?
Do you find it hard to believe
me when I said that so many people can be brainwashed without realizing it? Let me
explain.
The brainwashing started the day they were born. Take yourself as an example. Your parents started brainwashing
you the day you were born. Throughout your childhood, your parents
tried their very best to make you share their beliefs, by bribery, fear, guilt, by hook or
by crook. Many parents brainwash their children as a matter of course.
Am I making you angry? Yes? Good! It shows that you are alive and using your God-given
ability to think. I am sorry if my words hurt you but I want you to think things for
yourself and not let others control you with their beliefs.
As you get older and started schooling, your teachers and other authority figures join in
the process of brainwashing you. Yes, you!
Your teachers and parents are authority figures and they are
influenced by the social, political, economic and religious organizations they belong to. The beliefs they passed on to you are, more often than not, the
beliefs of their organizations. The religious views they expressed to you are usually the
views as sanctioned by their religious organizations.
By the time you can read
and write well enough, you will have been exposed to the beliefs of other people in the
form of books, magazines, newspapers, movies, music and other media. The authors, writers,
publishers, directors, actors, singers and others in the industry are also members of
organizations. The
views they expressed often coincide with the views of their organizations. When you read
and enjoy their works, you are being influenced subconsciously by their beliefs, for
better or worse.
First, you become a member. Then, as you become more involved in the activities of the
organizations, you will progress to the status of follower. A confused follower becomes a zombie.
Many people are robot citizens because they allow organizations to control their lives and
they follow the rules blindly.
Oh, blind are those who have eyes but could not see! There are many among us who are not blind but could not see the
difference between love and parental tyranny, truths and falsehoods, economic facts and
governmental propaganda, true religion and dogmatic thought. They are blind to the realities around them when they believe in
such false-to-fact concepts as heaven and hell, obligations, sins, obedience,
submissiveness, that obnoxious Darwinian theory of the survival of the fittest, and that
equally obnoxious theory of the one God.
There are no stupid
animals, plants or people, I
declare. But there are many people who do stupid things like losing their individuality,
allowing the beliefs of other people to rule their lives, and enslaving themselves to the
false-to-fact beliefs. On the other hand, there are stupid organizations that do stupid
things. What? Read on...
Governments tax their citizens in every
possible way and then waste the publics money on projects to maintain their grip on
power.
Corporations destroy the
environment and natural resources for private profit.
Religious organizations are insistent on
brainwashing their members even though a thousand year of effort has not produced the
desired result.
Military organizations
believe in the power of guns and bombs because after all that strenuous military training
their brains have shriveled and become smaller. Ha, ha!
Schools and
universities encourage their students to acquire useless knowledge on the false promise of
good job prospects.
Such blatant and flagrant
abuses of power, wealth and authority are often justified in the name of progress,
justice, education, freedom and other high-sounding ideals. An abuse of authority is an abuse of authority, no matter what or
how you call them.
Any more examples? Yes. Parents
tyrannize their children in the name of love. Politicians, bureaucrats, lawyers and law
enforcement officials produce nothing of tangible value to society by their involvement in
the making, administration and enforcement of laws.
Medical organizations treat as many people
as they made ill since many employees do not even know how to stay healthy. And, media
organizations thrive on bad news and the misfortunes of others.
The list goes on and on.
